Bewley Homes Appeal

The Secretary of State has rejected the appeal and refused permission for Bewley Homes to build 140 homes off Lower Weybourne Lane. This brings to an end a long process through the planning system that started in September 2013 when Bewley held their so called consultation at All Hallows School. The decision by the Secretary of State was greatly influenced by the newly adopted Waverley Local Plan and the Farnham Neighbourhood Plan. The developer now has 6 weeks to decide whether to make a judicial challenge through the High Court. The Secretary of State has also rejected the prosed developments in Monkton Lane and Waverley Lane whilst allowing the the development at Dunsfold to go ahead and provide up to 2600 new homes. This all adds up to very good news for Waverley, Farnham and Badshot Lea.
