May Election Result - Denise Le Gal Re-Elected

Conservative Denise Le Gal has been re-elected as Surrey County Councillor for Farnham North after beating the UKIP candidate Alexandra Swann by just 43 votes after votes were recounted twice.  Turnout was 31.4% for our area, full results shown below. Denise was quoted in the Farnham Herald saying "if re-elected your priorities will remain my priorities – better roads, reduced speeding and fewer HGV’s barrelling through our villages, enough school places for local children, improve care for elderly and vulnerable adults and opportunities for young people to get into work.  I will fight for improved infrastructure and oppose excessive development especially in Badshot Lea" There was no figure or clarification given as to what she meant by excessive.
