Planning Application in Badshot Lea

The Community Association would like to advise you that a planning application has been submitted to Waverley Borough Council for the redevelopment of the approx 5 acre site currently housing Little Acres nursery and Poppy’s tea room off St George’s Road.

BLCA are in the process of arranging a meeting where members of the community will be invited along to view the plans and pass comment/share their views.

The plans are available to view in Poppy’s tearoom.

The plans include accommodation for 40 students in 4 blocks comprising 10 students in each block, plus car park spaces for 10 students.

36 Housing units.  Parking space to be confirmed.

3 business units with a suggestion that they could be used for a doctor’s surgery, a chemist and a local convenience store.

A new building located opposite the recreation ground to house a bigger Poppy’s restaurant with a 2 bed flat accommodation above.

The total area of the site is approx. 5 acres.

Traffic to and from the site would use the current access off St. George’s Road.

Further news feeds will be emailed out as newsletters and will be posted on this site.  Keep watching!
