Tour of Potential Greenfield Housing Sites in Farnham

Prior to the election,  the Waverley Planning Committee toured the Farnham area on Monday 29th April to look at the GREENFIELD sites that are being earmarked for housing.  You will see from the map there is an excessive amount targeted once again for Badshot Lea and Weybourne (a potential total of 1193 dwellings).  Currently there is an anticipated need for 434 dwellings on green field sites throughout the Farnham area. Therefore the vast majority of this land should not be required for development during this 15 year review period up to 2028.

The next stage is a Planning Committee meeting (date as yet unknown) to decide which sites will be put forward.

Areas marked on map are as follows.

FA04 - Land Between Green Lane and Wentworth Close.  up to 100 Dwellings

FA05 - Part of the Scottish and Southern Electricity Depot.  up to 53 Dwellings

FA06 - Land between railway line, Glorney Mead and Badshot Park.  up to 100 Dwellings

FA07 - Land opposite the Kiln Village Hall.  up to 90 Dwellings

FA08 - Land between Badshot Lea Village and the A31.  up to 850 Dwellings
