Updated Farnham Neighbourhood Plan

Dear All,

The updated Farnham Neighbourhood Plan is now out for consultation until 21st March.

It is the same as the original version apart from some minor corrections and the addition of the extra 450 homes and the sites to accommodate them.

It is important that we support the plan to ensure we are not overwhelmed by uncontrolled and unwanted development. Please take part in the consultation via the Farnham Town Council website and the online Consultation Portal at Waverley Borough Council or email your support to  planningpolicy@waverley.gov.uk

You do not need to comment on every paragraph simply say `All` and make it clear you are in support.

We have made the following comment:

The need for additional housing should not have triggered such an early review of the plan. As the plan covers the period until 2032 there was plenty of time to make any adjustment in the housing numbers and sites.

The original version was excellent and with the required minor changes this updated version is similar. The plan should be fully adopted at the earliest opportunity.
